 Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic planning
  • Maintain technical documentation of the operating systems in use.
  • Keep up to date on relevant and important technologies, such as disaster recovery methodologies.
  • Develop policies focusing on system security and documenting processes.
  • Implementation & management of innovative solutions.
  • Research, testing, and implementation of systems.
  • Procurement of system hardware.
Daily Activities
  • Installing, supporting, and maintaining servers and computer systems.
  • System maintenance – Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Managing system permissions and users accounts.
  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues.
  • Troubleshooting and providing technical support.
  • Backup and disaster recovery.
  • Management of GOB DNS.
  • Controlling access to information and systems.
  • Virtualization.
  • Endpoint security.
  • Data loss prevention.
  • Monitoring of system performance, uptime, health.
  • Management of CITO Helpdesk System.
  • Azure management.
  • Authentication and authorization management.
  • VSAN/SAN.

Government Internet Email

We provide internet emails for government employees that have rich features like all the popular email brands. This gives our public officers a secure government email account to communicate and makes communication professional. This also servers to show the contacts that the user is a certified employee of the ministry or department under which his domain falls under.

Web Hosting

CITO provides web hosting for government and third party websites. Servers are maintained by our knowledgeable and capable administrators on several different operating systems that include Windows and Linux environments.
